Diana: The Personal Brand of a Princess

CPD Conversations in Public Diplomacy

Princess Diana built one of the world's most powerful personal brands. Likewise, diplomats rely on strong personal relationships to advance their country's policies and popularity.  Get an inside understanding of how exceptional individual and institutional reputations are built from the only Personal Secretary (Chief of Staff) Princess Diana ever had and President Obama's former Director of Global Engagement.

Patrick Jephson, Diana's former Chief of Staff will be speaking alongside Brett Bruen, President, Global Situation Room and former U.S. Diplomat and Director of Global Engagement at the White House, and Bill Beaman, adjunct professor of Public Communications and Founding Partner, OnPoint Strategies discussed about HRH The Princess of Wales' life behind the scenes and how her practice of public diplomacy was strategically managed.  The discussion was moderated by Mary Murphy, a print, television, and digital journalist, as well as a senior lecturer at USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
