Diplomat, Indian Ministry of External Affairs
Abhay K. is a writer-poet-artist-diplomat. Born in Nalanda district in Eastern India, he studied at Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. He joined the Diplomatic Service in 2003 and studied Russian language, history and literature at Moscow State University (MGU).
His memoir River Valley to Silicon Valley -- Story of three generations of an Indian family was published by Bookwell India (2007). In addition to later books, Fallen Leaves of Autumn, and 10 Questions of the Soul, his writings have been published by magazines such as 'Diplomatic Square', 'India Abroad', 'Literary St. Petersburg', and several E-zines. His forthcoming books are a collection of poems titled 'Candling the Light' and a book on the art life of Russian cultural capital St. Petersburg titled Colours of the Soul.
