Network Scholar Ali Fisher Publishes Piece on Collaborative Public Diplomacy

Network scholar, Ali Fisher published a new book on public diplomacy in a network society. In his book, Collaborative Public Diplomacy, Fisher explains the how the digital age has created an interconnectivity between diplomats and social media analyzing the factors of influence within a network society.
The overview of the book states:
"Public diplomacy is conducted in a complex multi-hub and multi-directional network. In this environment, each interaction between members of the network has the potential to change the odds of a particular outcome occurring. As practitioners of public diplomacy work increasingly with digital media and social networks, they consciously increase the emphasis on partnership and cooperation, and the ability to identify factors that influence successful collaboration will continue to increase in importance.”
