Bruce Schneier is an internationally renowned security expert, author of the best-selling Applied Cryptography, the Bible of crypto. He has also written popular books on security, such as Secrets and Lies and his latest, Beyond Fear, which tackles the problems of security from the small to the large: personal safety, crime, corporate security, and national security.

Schneier is the founder and CTO of Counterpane Internet Security, Inc., the world's leading protector of networked information.
