Let's make no mistake — the refugees and their suffering will be used by both their government and regional powers to stoke anti-Americanism. "This is a study that really looks at two things," he says. "It looks at the global message that Al-Qaeda puts out and that its affiliates put out. It also looks at the network that is behind that -- and then, how...they get that [message] out to the world. What is the network that brings that [message] to people over the Internet -- because the Internet is really the primary delivery mechanism for Al-Qaeda."

Lecture hails French language as bringer of peace, freedoms

"Since the 1960s, Canada has been developing francophone ability throughout the world ... through francophone press, television stations and youth activities and the diplomatic francophone relations have grown with the exchange of heads of state," he said.

US sinks even lower in Arab world’s esteem - poll

The survey found that while views on some issues varied among the six countries, cynicism about U.S. motivations and policies was fairly consistent. Eighty percent said their views of the U.S. are formed more by U.S. "policies" than by U.S. "values" -- up from 70 percent who took that position in 2006.
