American-Turkish filmmaking project ends in Ankara

Coordinated by SUNY, with Atlantik Film in charge of the Turkish part and with sponsorship of $500,000 from the US State Department, 72 students from six cities (Antakya, Artvin, Edirne, Konya, Mardin and Sivas) had worked from November 2008 until now on films about democracy, human rights, tolerance and diversity, womens issues and economic empowerment.
