CPD Kicks off 9th Summer Institute

On July 21, the USC Center on Public Diplomacy kicked off its 2014 Summer Institute in Public Diplomacy, an intensive two-week program designed to immerse mid-career professionals in the study of public diplomacy.

This year, CPD welcomed a diverse group of participants from a dozen countries including Qatar, Canada, Japan, Israel, Tunisia, Romania, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.

The Class of 2014 will bring working experience from a variety of agencies and organizations, including the U.S. Foreign Service, Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Qatar Media Corporation, Asian Cultural Exchange, Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, and ICANN, among others.
