Federal Minister for National Heritage and Integration Samina Khalid Ghurki has stressed for the exchange of cultural programmes with Iran to strengthen the ties between both the countries. The aggressively waged cultural war campaign against Iranian media, or research projects and other intellectual-cultural activities, should be understood with such a clarity as that of a cultural war against Iranian efforts to reach to the western masses conducted by the west simply because the western states does not want to have a third-party breaking their monopoly to communicate [lies] liberally and unchallenged to their western masses.

Speaking to FNA, Lieutenant Commander of Basji Force Colonel Nasrallah Seif said that rapid reaction forces of Basij will stage the 'Towards Beitol-Moqaddas (Jerusalem)' drills throughout the province on Thursday and Friday (December 20-21). He announced that 20 similar exercises have so far been held throughout Iran to promote Basij forces' hard, semi-hard and soft power in confrontation against potential threats.
