According to a survey of 2,000 consumers across China in late February of this year, Donald Trump has caused an adverse effect on Chinese sentiment towards investing in the United States. The data found that 41.2% of Chinese consumers have a more negative view of the US following Trump’s first month as President. 50.7% of consumers held a neutral position and 8.1% now viewed the US more positively.

Donald Trump was a master at branding in his business career, but he seems to have left those skills in New York. In just a month in Washington, the president has significantly damaged the American brand abroad, in ways that could harm U.S. interests for years. America is not perfect in the eyes of the world. The International Defence Exhibition and Conference 2017 (IDEX 2017), a five-day defence exhibition, started with a colourful and impressive inaugural ceremony at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on Sunday morning. The United Arab Emirates' armed forces took part in a military show at the opening of the Abu Dhabi event.
