Ethiopia: The Ethiopian Public Diplomacy Delegation Leaving for Cairo Today

The public diplomacy delegation of Ethiopia comprised of more than 70 renowned personalities from all walks of life and journalists is leaving for Cairo today (December 15, 2014). The public diplomacy delegation, the first of its kind, is traveling To Egypt with the objective of building trust and fraternal relations between the peoples' of Ethiopia and Egypt.

The delegation which is led by Speaker of the House of Peoples' Representative, AbaDulla Gemeda, includes prominent academicians, former Ambassadors, religious leaders, artists and other prominent personalities drawn from various sectors. In coordination session held this morning, Dr. Tedros Adhanom, expressed his strong belief that the visit of the Ethiopian Public Diplomacy Delegation will have a vital role in strengthening people to people relations between the peoples of the two nations.
