VILNIUS. – The Lithuanian Parliament, Seimas, held the solemn opening ceremony of the Lithuania-Armenia forum, where MPs, political, scientific, cultural, representatives as well as sport figures, actors, journalists and representatives of the Armenian community participated, Armenian MFA informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The Lithuania-Armenia forum is targeted at activating bilateral relations between the two states in the fields of culture, art, public diplomacy, sport and economy.
Members of the Seimas, as well as the Armenian Ambassador Ara Aivazyan delivered speeches in the opening ceremony, ministerial press service informs.
