With just a month to go until the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, preparations for the main pavilions are entering their final stages.

Designers are doing what they can to show the world the best of their creativity. But for the host country, one pavilion is far from enough to showcase its past and present. Yuan Xiaoyuan takes a closer look at China's national and local pavilions to see what they will present to the world.

After a year's construction, China's national pavilion has been painted a bright red, making people eager to see what's inside. But they have to wait a little bit longer.

Mao Ning, deputy chief of China Pavilion Project, said, "Most of the work in the national pavilion has been completed. We planned to finish the exhibition by April the 15th."
