CPD Welcomes 2017 Visiting Fellow

The USC Center on Public Diplomacy welcomes Kwangjin Choi of the Republic of Korea to the Center as CPD’s Visiting Fellow for 2017. Prior to CPD Mr. Choi headed the Public Diplomacy division as a director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Korea where he drafted a Public Diplomacy Implementation Act, which is now in effect. He also facilitated numerous public diplomacy projects and activities in Korea and abroad.

As a career diplomat, Mr. Choi has served for more than 20 years at the Korean Embassies in China, Japan and Myanmar, as well as at the Consulate General in Shenyang, China. He also worked as a founding member of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat among Korea, Japan and China, contributing to its successful establishment as an international organization.
