KEEP READINGCPD & Global Ties U.S. Share Insights on Cultural Exchanges
On May 18, the USC Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD) and Global Ties U.S. held a successful workshop at the Global Ties headquarters in Washington, DC. The purpose of the workshop was to discuss the local impact of international exchange and featured an overview of the joint research project on the International Visitor Leadership Program, a moderated Q&A, and breakout sessions to discuss current research and provide feedback.
Participants included officials from Global Ties, the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy, the Delegation of the European Union in Washington, DC, among others.
The workshop is part of CPD's multi-year research project examining the benefits of international exchange on host communities around the United States.
