Held every four years, the Commonwealth Games are an international sports event. They include countries from all over the world and have been hosted on four continents. Michał Marcin Kobierecki from the University of Lodz in Poland takes a close look at the impact of sports diplomacy by examining the Commonwealth Games as a cultural bridge between Great Britain and its former colonies.
