KEEP READINGUSAID Celebrates One Year of Storytelling for Social Good
One year ago, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) launched its Extreme Possibilities Storytelling Hub, a multimedia platform to showcase inspiring stories of public diplomacy for sustainable development. Topics covered in the series include women’s empowerment, climate change, social entrepreneurship, maternal health, education and food security. To mark the hub’s one year anniversary, USAID has curated a special summer series for the month of July celebrating the organization’s efforts to lift people out of poverty. This video is number 17 of the 31-part series and features a Senegalese radio broadcaster who is empowering women to participate in civic and community decision-making processes. Other videos from the series are available here.
