The International Organization for Migration is urging consumers not to buy products made by migrants exploited for their cheap labor. The IOM is launching a global campaign to end human trafficking. It begins in Europe where large numbers of people are trafficked, but eventually will expand to other regions of the world.

The U.S. State Department significantly lacks expertise, diplomatic and intelligence tools. Inadequate developed techniques to propel its overseas diplomatic missions for wider reach to engage with diverse community leaders and communities in the periphery. The Department is filling inexperienced junior officers in senior public diplomacy positions who lack requisite experience and expertise to perform effectively.
