The USC Center on Public Diplomacy welcomes Ambassador Arturo Sarukhan to the Center as the CPD Distinguished Visiting Scholar for the 2013-14 academic year.

The USC Center on Public Diplomacy is pleased to announce that Lee Yaniv, MPD '14, is the recipient of the 2013 CPD Prize for Best Student Paper in Public Diplomacy.

Professor Ira Wagman joins the USC Center on Public Diplomacy this Fall as the Canada-U.S. Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in Public Diplomacy where he will conduct research on Canadian cultural policy and nation branding and teach in USC’s Master of Public Diplomacy program.

The USC Center on Public Diplomacy welcomes California native and veteran diplomat John Connerley to the Center as the CPD Public Diplomat in Residence for the 2013-14 academic year. Connerley comes to the Center from Kabul.

The newest CPD Perspectives is authored by CPD's Former Director Philip Seib, titled "Public Diplomacy and the Media in the Middle East." The paper analyzes the ways and means of engaging the region through various forms of media.

The latest edition of the Palgrave MacMillian Series in Global Public Diplomacy titled, Religion and Public Diplomacy, is edited by Former CPD Director Philip Seib. The edited volume is related to CPD's Faith Diplomacy Initiative.

Claudia Auer and Alice Srugies co-author the latest issue of CPD Perspectives on Public Diplomacy which examines the practices and scholarship of German public diplomacy.
