Counterterrorism Through Comedy

CPD Blogger Joseph Braude knows the power of international broadcasting to spur social change. In a video on his YouTube channel, Braude provides a clip from the hit TV show "Selfie," starring comedian Nasser al-Qasabi.

According to Braude, "Some Arab liberals see satire as a means to prosecute jihadists in the court of public opinion," just as al-Qasabi does in this clip by ridiculing ISIS and its tactics.
