John Brown Discusses Recent Successes and Failures in US Public Diplomacy

John Brown, Senior Fellow at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy and author of the widely read Public Diplomacy Press Review met with faculty and students on October 25th from 4-5 in ASC 103. He spoke about such issues as the appointment of Karen Hughes as Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and discussing his article A Failed Public Diplomat in which he critiques Hughes’ recent trip to the Middle East.
