Iran Cultural Week in Korea DPR
Iran's Cultural Week opened in Pyongyang, Korea Democratic People's Republic, Monday in the presence of the two countries' cultural officials aiming to foster cultural relations. Iran's Ambassador to Korea DPR said, while addressing the opening ceremony, holding the Iranian Cultural Week seeks deepening cooperation between Tehran and Pyongyang. Referring to Iran-Korea DPR joint anti-imperialism stand, Morteza Moradian said the two countries have common stand vis-a-vis US imperialism.
Radio Festival Begins in Tehran
The 10th International Radio Festival and the Second Radio Forum began here on Monday. A number of issues including music, radio drama, performance of radio in expanding communications and rendering services within new frameworks will be discussed at the festival. The two events are being held concurrently at the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) seminars center. The international festival and forum will end on Tuesday. Some 60 producers from 42 countries are participating in the two cultural events.

China’s Xinhua News Agency is lecturing Western media outlets for ignoring risks, covering up lies, protecting the powerful and clouding the truth. The context: China’s state news agency says its newsgathering efforts will be an essential pillar in a reordered global financial landscape, since a “monopoly” of Western media shirked their duty to protect the system.
