Women in Diplomacy

In celebration of Women's History Month, the USC Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD) and the Los Angeles World Affairs Council & Town Hall (LAWAC) proudly present Women in Diplomacy, a thought-provoking in-person panel discussion on March 31 featuring Sophie Hottat, Consul General of Belgium in Los Angeles; Maria Alnee Gamble, Deputy Consul General of the Philippines in Los Angeles; and Julie Duhaut-Bedos, Interim Director of the USC Center on Public Diplomacy and former Consul General of France in Los Angeles. Goli Ameri, former Assistant Secretary of State for Cultural and Educational Affairs, will moderate the event.

The discussion will delve into the significance of representation in international affairs and how women in diplomacy can shape global policies. Attendees will be able to engage with these accomplished leaders.

This program is open to all eligible individuals. The USC Center on Public Diplomacy operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the University’s Notice of Non-Discrimination.
