2015 CPD Summer Institute in Public Diplomacy Training Program

This intensive two-week training program allows professionals from across the globe to immerse themselves in the growing field of public diplomacy.

The CPD Summer Institute in Public Diplomacy equips practitioners with skills to:

• Pinpoint the challenges facing contemporary public diplomacy and the range of strategies available to address them;
• Examine the impact of digital communications technologies and globalization upon public diplomacy;
• Analyze and evaluate program outcomes and success;
• Refine their own practices while building an international network of colleagues.

The course is taught by some of the world’s most distinguished public diplomacy experts. In addition to a core curriculum which covers listening, advocacy, and nation branding, there are special courses on creativity and leadership, digital storytelling, China’s and Russia’s public diplomacy, and the role of non-state actors.
