CPD Blogger Quoted in India Today

CPD Blogger Neal Rosendorf was quoted in a July 3 India Today article titled “Slouching Tiger, Racing Dragon.” The article discusses the differences in approaches to soft power by China, which recently began employing Confucius Institutes around the world to promote Chinese language and culture, in comparison with India, whose soft power remains focused on its cultural exports such as yoga, cuisine and film.

In the article, Rosendorf says, “Bollywood has millions of non-Indian fans around the world. American actors of Indian origin are becoming increasingly popular in the US, which may in turn make Americans and other audiences much more receptive to Indian films.” Click here to read the entire article.
