Call for Papers for Terrorism and New Media Conference

Terrorism and New Media: Building a Research Network, an international conference co-sponsored by the USC Center on Public Diplomacy, is accepting papers on innovative research into any aspect of terrorism and new media by May 17.

The conference, which is scheduled for Sept. 8-9 and is also co-sponsored by the Centre for International Studies at Dublin City University in Ireland, is welcoming papers and panels that report novel results or describe and employ innovative methodological approaches to researching terrorism and new media. Perspectives from all academic disciplines, including communications, computer science, law, international relations, and political science are welcome. Paper submissions and accompanying 300-word abstracts are due by May 17. Click here for details.

A selection of accepted papers will also be considered for publication in a special issue of Media, War & Conflict.
