CPD Director Philip Seib will chair the final session of a Wilton Park conference, jointly hosted by the U.S. Department of State and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, scheduled for June 7-9 in West Sussex, England.

At the conference, titled "Public Diplomacy: Moving From Policy to Practice?", Seib will join public diplomacy practitioners and policy makers and communications specialists and experts from think tanks, academics, corporate sector, and NGOs to frankly discuss foreign policy concerns through the discipline of public diplomacy.

Discussion points include:

-Is there a universally agreed definition of public diplomacy?
-Are we at a 'soft power' moment?
-Has digital diplomacy gone far enough?
-Who are the most effective messengers?
-What is the role of the corporate sector?

Seib will chair the final session called "What Next? Looking to the Future" to wrap up the conference. Click here to see the conference agenda.
