Back in Person: 2022 CPD Summer Institute in Public Diplomacy

Mark those calendars and bookmark the application page, as CPD is pleased to announce the 2022 CPD Summer Institute in Public Diplomacy, our flagship professional education program. From July 10–22, 2022 we plan to resume convening in person at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Now in its 16th year, Summer Institute allows public diplomacy practitioners and scholars to participate in a forward-looking, hands on learning environment and create collaborative strategies toward a robust and impactful public diplomacy practice.

Our global faculty and leading scholars teach sessions over two weeks with a mix of small group work, networking and collaborations, simulations, and dynamic lectures. We allow for time to network with global colleagues in foreign ministries and organizations to share best practices and potential pitfalls in effective public diplomacy practice.
