CPD Director to Speak at AUSACE International Conference in Cairo

CPD Director Philip Seib will participate in a diplomacy forum, and moderate another, at the 14th Annual Arab-U.S. Association for Communication Educators (AUSACE) International Conference in Cairo, Egypt, Nov. 7-10.

Seib, along with other distinguished panelists from across the globe, will discuss the media and its relationship with politics in a Sunday panel at the Safir Hotel.

In addition to presenting a paper on "Virtual States," Seib will also moderate a panel on the topic of social change and citizen and civic journalism.

Kai Hafez, Chair for International and Comparative Communication Studies at the University of Erfurt, Germany, will deliver the Keynote address.
