Poor Rich Boy Serenades American Audiences
In this video, members of Pakistani indie rock band, Poor Rich Boy (and the toothless winos), talk about their Center Stage tour in the United States. As the first of seven touring ensembles and dance companies that will go on a month-long tour, Poor Rich Boy hopes to share their story with American audiences by "providing an accessible narrative to their country." The Center Stage, as a part of its Music Diplomacy initiative, will also host contemporary dance and music ensembles from Morocco, and Vietnam. Artists from various cities will present their rich and complex cultures and history through music, dance, and visual imagery.
