Presidential Management Fellowship Selects Three MPD ‘11 Candidates

The Presidential Management Fellows Program (PMF) selected Melanie Ciolek, Renee H. Lee, and Brian Tenenbaum as finalists from the MPD Class of 2011.

The PMF program started nearly 30 years ago to encourage and train advanced degree students in entry-level positions to become future leaders in the U.S. government. Fellows are given the opportunity to work hands on in various departments for the duration of the program.

Melanie Ciolek is currently the Public Diplomacy Evaluation Intern with CPD and the President of the Association of Public Diplomacy Scholars (APDS); Renee Lee was a former PR intern with the Center; and Brian Tenenbaum is the current Communications Officer for APDS.

The full list of finalists appear here.

The next step for the selected students will be to attend the 2011 PMF Job Fair to find a placement.

We congratulate them on this wonderful accomplishment!
