Sora graduated from USC Viterbi School of Engineering as a data scientist in 2018. His specialty is in machine learning, artificial intelligence, data mining, and visualization. He firmly believes proper interpretation of data can unravel useful insights hidden in any multi-variable system, and uncovering them should be an integral part of any crucial decision making.
While Sora primarily focuses on analyzing data for the tech industry, his interests also extend toward using data mining to examine and explain political phenomenon and large-scale social behaviors.
Currently, Sora works as a data analyst at Center for Systems and Software Engineering and analyzing user review from Apple’s App Store and Google Play in pursuit of creating a more facilitating customer support platform.
At CPD, Sora works as a contributing researcher for Dr. Zahid Shahab Ahmed’s Research Fellowship project: “How Are Attitudes Towards China Formed in Pakistan? Analysis of Beijing’s Public Diplomacy in the Context of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.”
