Marcus Holmes is Assistant Professor of Government at the College of William & Mary. His research and teaching interests are in diplomacy, international security, international relations theory, and foreign policy. He directs the Political Psychology in International Relations student-research lab at William & Mary. Holmes has published articles in International Organization, International Studies Quarterly among other journals. He also recently co-edited Digital Diplomacy: Theory and Practice (Routledge, 2015) with Corneliu Bjola (University of Oxford). He earned his doctorate from The Ohio State University and has previously taught at Georgetown University, The Ohio State University, and Fordham University. He is currently associate editor of the The Hague Journal of Diplomacy and Diplomacy and Foreign Policy and is series editor of the “Diplomacy and International Relations” book series for Palgrave. His book, Face Value: Face-to-Face Diplomacy, Social Neuroscience, and International Relations, is under contract with Cambridge University Press.
