Jun Gao is a CPD Research contributor who works with Dr. Adriana Erthal Abdenur on the CPD research project "South-South Relations and Public Diplomacy". He previously worked for the UNDP for South-South cooperation projects, and he is the founder of an independent think tank Political Economy Strategy. His research covers regions of Africa, Middle East and Latin America with a focus on comparative political economy and Chinese foreign policy engagement in those regions.
