Description
The USC Center on Public Diplomacy is looking to hire a USC student intern with both strong written and video/multimedia skills to join our team. The position will provide broad exposure to public diplomacy communication efforts to a global audience of practitioners, researchers and those in exchange and cultural fields across platforms and channels. Experience with data analytics is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Write and design graphics for social media in CPD's voice and style
- Edit videos for web and social platforms
- Copyedit blog posts, articles and summaries
- Analyze data to create analytics reports for communication efforts
- As-needed, assist with CPD's marketing/PR functions

Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient in various Adobe Creative Suite programs and/or other video editing and design tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Word's editing features
- Experience with data analytics
- Copyediting experience, with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple priorities/projects
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Willingness to collaborate frequently with multiple team members
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team setting
