Armenia Suspends Reconciliation Process With Turkey

President Serzh Sargsyan on April 22 called on Armenia’s parliament to "suspend" the process to ratify reconciliation protocols with Turkey. Sargyan described the current stage of relations with Turkey as "exhausted." A senior Armenian politician, meanwhile, indicated that the agreement may be recalled from parliament.

Exhibition of oil paintings by Chinese artists at the Citadel

A collection of sixty artistic works are currently being displayed at the Exhibition Hall, at the Centre for Culture and Arts, The Citadel, Victoria, Gozo. The exhibition has been organised by the Foreign Cultural Relations Bureau within the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of China, in collaboration with the Chinese Cultural Centre in Malta.

Confucius Institutes enhance China’s int’l image

The first Confucius Institute opened in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in June 2004. Since then, 523 institutes or classrooms have been established all over the world, according to Han Ban, China's Office of Chinese Language Council International. The government aims to increase that total to 1,000 by 2020.

Korean ‘Hidden Champions’ Deserve Global Attention

``There is a clear gap between the international performance of successful Korean firms and the perception of Korea as a country,'' Simon said. ``Awareness and trust can be built through personality.
