CPD Welcomes New Canada-U.S. Fulbright Visiting Research Chair Bernard Duhaime

Professor Bernard Duhaime joins the USC Center on Public Diplomacy this Fall as the Canada-U.S. Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in Public Diplomacy.

He will be continuing his research in the field of international human rights law and teaching in the Master's in Public Diplomacy program.

Duhaime is also a Visiting Fellow at Harvard Law School’s Human Rights Program. He is currently on sabbatical from the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Québec (UQAM, in Montreal, Canada), where he is a professor of international law. His research interests include human rights, with a specialty in the Inter-American System of Protection of Human Rights, and human rights advocacy in public diplomacy. Duhaime is also involved in various human cases, representing or assisting victims and human rights defenders before the Inter-American System, the United Nations bodies, the European Court of Human Rights, etc.
