Support CPD and Public Diplomacy
This past year has seen pivotal moments for USC's Center on Public Diplomacy. In 2015, we've had some great successes:
- Growing CPD Student Fellowships. The program offers selected students a substantive internship opportunity at CPD working with its director and staff on developing, conducting and promoting CPD's projects. This past fall, CPD was able to add another Student Fellow, Michael Arda Karakash.
- Expanding PD Hub. Designed as a virtual learning space, PD Hub brings together a fully searchable Online Library, PD News, a growing list of organizations dedicated to public diplomacy, exclusive interviews with PD practitioners and scholars, multimedia resources and more into the most comprehensive resource on public diplomacy anywhere.
- Continuing CPD on the Road. This October we were delighted to host the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama for a special event at CPD which was live streamed for viewers around the world to watch and participate. CPD has been successful at bringing programming not just to USC, but to Washington, DC, New York and farther afield.
CPD is extremely proud of the work it's done this past year, but successes like these don't come easily. That's why we're asking for your help. There are just a few short weeks to reach our end of year goal of $15,000.
Without the help of alumni and other supporters, we cannot continue to provide these events, resources, and projects to members of the CPD community and public diplomacy students.
