Application Deadline Extended to June 30, 2014

As part of its commitment to building the field of public diplomacy, CPD facilitates research opportunities through its CPD Research Fellowship Program, Visiting and Contributing Scholars and Research Internship programs and now, its Dissertation Awards.

The USC Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD) is pleased to announce its Doctoral Dissertation Award program for the academic year 2014-15.  CPD will select two doctoral students with dissertation topics in the area of public diplomacy. The Dissertation Award, $2,500 each, is intended to recognize and support the work of emerging scholars from around the world engaged in cutting-edge research on public diplomacy.

The application process for the 2014-2015 CPD Doctoral Dissertation Award began March 27, 2014. Applications are now due June 30, 2014 and should be sent electronically to cpd@usc.edu with "ATTN: Jay Wang – Dissertation Award Application" in the subject line. CPD is committed to supporting work examining a broad range of public diplomacy topics from diverse geographical areas and perspectives.  Awards will be announced in August 2014 and disbursed shortly thereafter.
