Last week, USC Master of Public Diplomacy alumnus and CPD Multimedia Producer Jose Castillo launched a new music and sound diplomacy podcast, titled Resonance.
The educational series, hosted by Jose, seeks to explore the cultural significance of musical exchange across the globe and to build a case for music in the halls of governmental and non-governmental public diplomacy.
Below is the debut episode of Resonance, featuring music critic and Director of USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, Josh Kun. In this first episode, Jose and Josh discuss music as a tool for social change, South-South diplomacy and more.
The original podcast episode can be found on Resonance's SounCloud page here and streaming on most podcast platforms.
