CPD mentioned in Foreign Policy Association article

In his article, "The Courage of Our Convictions: U.S. Opportunity in Mideast, Africa Turmoil", public relations expert John Paluszek cites CPD's ability to bridge private and public sectors in an article for Foreign Policy Association
.


He notes, "The government's most effective role might well be largely as a facilitator of the many private sector commitments by civil society and business as well as being a rhetorical champion of such efforts and their outcomes. Embassies, consulates, and other national and international resources might serve this function quite well."



Paluszek goes on to say that, "Expert support for this kind of strategy has come from the USC Center on Public Diplomacy at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. In the Summer 2010 edition of PD Magazine, CPD University Fellow and Professor at the School for International Relations, Geoffrey Wiseman, in “'Polylaterism': Diplomacy's Third Dimension”, raises the possibility of a greater role for non-state organizations…"
