CPD Video Conversations from Shanghai Expo Features the Brazilian Pavilion

On August 25, the USC Center on Public Diplomacy's research team in Shanghai released a video conversation focusing on the Brazilian pavilion. In this video, Brazilian Pavilion Director Pedro Wendler discusses the country's positioning and communication at the Shanghai Expo.

As a major emerging economy and the host of the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics, Brazil is keen to present the country as more than just soccer, samba and carnivals. This video is part of the Nation Branding at the Expo Shanghai 2010 project, which involves the Shanghai research team posting video blogs that highlight select countries and their pavilions during the World Expo.
