Katarzyna Pisarska Joins CPD as Visiting Scholar
The USC Center on Public Diplomacy is pleased to welcome Katarzyna Pisarska as CPD Visiting Scholar for the Spring 2019 semester.
Pisarska brings a combination of both practice and scholarship in public diplomacy, specializing in EU foreign policy, Eastern Partnership and EU-Russia relations. She comes to USC from her position as Associate Professor at Warsaw School of Economics and the Founder & Director of the European Academy of Diplomacy in Poland. Previously, she was a Fulbright Visiting Fellow at Harvard University (2007), a Visiting Scholar at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (2010), at the University of Oslo (2012) and at the Australian National University (2015).
"I am truly excited to be joining the Center this academic semester," said Pisarska. "During my stay here I hope to further my scholarly research on collaborative public diplomacy, as well as share my practical experience of running a PD institution back in Poland. I am also planning to contribute to the USC CPD teaching by presenting the results of a multi-annual project on public diplomacy's domestic dimension. Thank you for a warm welcome!"
This fellowship is funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
