U.S. President Barack Obama hosted Tuesday an Iftar at the White House in celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan.  The Iftar, which has become an annual tradition at the White House, gathered diplomats from the Arab and Muslim world. 

The Korea Culture and Diplomatic Mission (KCDM), a group established to help Koreans build awareness of global cultures, said that it will host the three-day Youth Ambassador Academy at the International Youth Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, Aug. 4.

During an official visit designed to show Beijing's interest in improving relations with its neighbour, Mr Wang emphasised that the two countries see eye-to-eye on most issues.  China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi has promised his country's support to help India improve its economic development.
