Sri Lanka Navy is taking part in Pakistan's AMAN-17 multinational naval exercise kicked off on February 10 in the North Arabian Sea in Karachi. The multinational naval exercise is held from February 10 to 14 with the participation of 37 countries. Nine nations including Australia, China, Indonesia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan and Russia are participating with warships or aircraft.

German police have been training 45 Saudi female border guards as part of a security agreement signed by the interior ministries of both countries. The Saudi General Directorate of Border Guard said in a statement that the participants are learning new security skills such as personal protection, preliminary investigation, identity verification, arrest and inspection, confiscation of seized items.

India will train Qatar's police for the FIFA World Cup 2022. This was agreed upon during a meeting between Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani and Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi on Saturday. The Prime Minister, who holds the Interior Ministry portfolio, invited Mr Singh to Qatar to strengthen bilateral security cooperation as the country prepares to host the FIFA World Cup 2022.

The 22nd edition in the series of bilateral exercises between armed forces from Singapore (SAF) and Malaysia (MAF), demonstrated “unity in spirit”, said the Chief of Staff-General Staff of the Singapore Army, Brigadier-General (BG) Desmond Tan Kok Ming at the closing ceremony of Exercise Semangat Bersatu today. According to Singapore’s Ministry of Defence (Mindef), this year’s exercise was a 10-day affair conducted in Kluang, and involved around 980 personnel from both the 1st Battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment, and the 5th Royal Malay Regiment.
