Mariana González Insua
Research & Publications Intern, Candidate for Master of Public Diplomacy, USC

Mariana González Insua is a second-year graduate student at the Masters of Public Diplomacy program at USC. Her areas of interest include Public Diplomacy in Latin America and US-Latin American relations.

Mariana is originally from Buenos Aires, where she graduated from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella with an undergraduate degree in International Relations. After living in Germany for a year and working as a research assistant in Argentina, she relocated to California to pursue a Masters in Latin American Studies at Stanford University.

Mariana is currently a senior editor of Public Diplomacy Magazine and she holds the position of APDS Formal Events Chair for the 2010-2011 calendar year. She also works as a research assistant to Dr. Carol Wise and interns at the International Visitors Council of Los Angeles. When Mariana is not working, she enjoys watching movies and documentaries, spending time with friends and traveling.
