Maya serves as the Research & Publications Intern who works to keep the CPD website updated with relevant, new resources in the field of public diplomacy.

USC Annenberg has been home for Maya since 2007, and she received her B.A. in Communication in May 2011. She will complete the Master of Public Diplomacy program in December 2011, and then pursue a career in international development. Programs and organizations of interest to her are those focused on women's empowerment, conflict resolution and transforming education through new technologies.

An ardent world traveler, Maya most recently visited Israel and Singapore on educational exchanges. She has spent extensive time in East Africa and Europe, and her journeys have taken her through the Middle East, Central and South America, and Southeast Asia as well.
