Gino Garcia is a PR Specialist with the USC Center on Public Diplomacy, working on strategic campaigns. He is responsible for writing content, developing communication plans, and ensuring that CPD’s story is told effectively and as widely as possible.
Gino draws from his experiences working with large nonprofits, government agencies, think tanks, and philanthropists on public education and policy-change campaigns in California and throughout the U.S. He has worked on campaigns for a wide range of issues, including criminal justice, immigration, early childhood education, health and nutrition, and environmental conservation.
As a second year masters student in strategic communications and political management, Gino is interested in national identity and image, public affairs, international relations, and “tra-digital” media. Gino received his bachelors in Anthropology and Linguistics at the University of California, Los Angeles and is a native of (and avid advocate for) California’s central valley.
