Lora is a first-year Master’s in Public Diplomacy student at USC Annenberg. She earned a Bachelor’s in International Relations and a minor in French from UC Irvine, where she also participated in a study abroad program at “SciencesPo” in Paris. Lora also interned with OC Human Relations in Santa Ana, California where she earned a certificate in mediation. As a recent graduate, she joined a congressional campaign and for several months worked alongside candidate Joe Shammas, a 2nd runner-up in California’s 29th district election in 2016. Before attending USC, Lora spent one service year with AmeriCorps in San Diego, California. Working as a PASS AmeriCorps mentor with the students of Valley Center Middle School in northern San Diego County inspired her to pursue a diplomatic career. She has a strong passion for global relations, sports and learning new languages.

As a CPD Contributing Researcher, Lora works on Research Fellow Mietek Boduszyński’s project: “U.S. Public Diplomacy in the Age of the Fortress Embassy: Balancing Mission and Security in the Post-Benghazi Era."
