Lara-Nour Walton
CPD High School Intern, Sophomore, Evanston Township High School

Lara-Nour Walton is a sophomore at Evanston Township High School in Illinois. She is interested in languages and passionate about learning about her native region of the Middle East. Having spent her elementary school years in the French Lycee system, Lara-Nour is fluent in the language and is actively taking Arabic and Chinese courses. She is a member of the Model UN and Public Forum Debate teams and is heavily involved in the Middle East and South East Asian (SAME) Alliance at her school. In May of 2017, Lara-Nour's team, won 2nd place in the state of Illinois for the Future Problem Solving Program International competition (FPSPI) and she was awarded 9th place nationally for her French skills in Le Grand Concours National French Contest. In her free time, Lara-Nour can be found reading international classics or singing at her local School of Rock branch. 

As a High School intern at CPD in 2018, she assisted with creating website and newsletter content, specifically targeting a youth demographic.
