Ida Grundel works as an analyst at the Department of Thematic Communication and Analysis at the Swedish Institute (SI). The work as an analyst at SI includes regular studies and analysis on the image and relevance of Sweden abroad. The studies include quantitative regional and thematic country studies, following the discussions of Sweden on digital platforms as well as following the role of Sweden in a wide range of international indexes. Ida obtained her PhD at Karlstad University (Department of Geography, Media and Communication Studies) with the dissertation, Becoming the attractive region - A study of contemporary regionalization processes.
